Road closures, evacuation orders, and other restrictions can impact access that is essential to keeping crops watered and livestock tended.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ag Pass program was developed to provide a structured way to identify vetted commercial agricultural operators and their employees to emergency response and law enforcement personnel during disasters. Possession of an Ag Pass potentially allows the cardholder limited emergency access to areas that may otherwise be restricted to the public, in order for these operators to re-enter evacuation zones to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Perform irrigation of crops or turn on water systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Transport\/deliver necessary equipment needed to re-establish water supplies or irrigation systems<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Provide feed, water, medical treatment, and other care to large-scale commercial livestock operations<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Evacuate livestock<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Provide access to property or facilities used as part of an agricultural operation by emergency responders<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>\n\t\t\tPass Types\t<\/h1>\n\t<h3><strong>Pase previo al incidente<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Issued to qualifying individuals in advance of an incident. To qualify, agriculture operators must: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Submit the required documentation<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Complete the online training<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Submit an online application<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3><strong>Pase de un solo uso<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>One-time passes may be issued to qualifying individuals during an incident. These temporary passes may be obtained from the Ventura County Human Services Agency at an operational Temporary Evacuation Point (TEP).
